A clip from the BBC's Tomorrows World programme back in 1971, almost a year before I was born! This was an idea for navigating around a town or city using old fashioned cassette tapes, an interesting, if somewhat flawed idea of the time...
With things being put back together, this time we see the rear axle and suspension units being attached to the car, along with the drive shaft as an added bonus, though one of the new parts does give.a little trouble at one point... The Marcos Mantula starts to make progress, with a fully repaired and galvanised chassis, new suspension units and a brand new Quaife ATB limited slip differential unit for the rear axle, but how to these things go together and what colour will the chassis be? A nice silver as seen straight from the galvanising process or something more fashionable?
